Storyline:

Flight Risk is an upcoming American thriller film starring Mark Wahlberg, Topher Grace, and Michelle Dockery. It was directed by Mel Gibson, written by Jared Rosenberg, and Produced by Mel Gibson, Bruce Davey, and John Davis.

In December 2020, Jared Rosenberg’s screenplay Flight Risk was selected for the year’s “Black List,” highlighting it as one of Hollywood’s most-liked unproduced screenplays.

Principal photography commenced in Las Vegas on June 16, 2023. In July 2023, filming took place over two days in Mesquite, Nevada, and additional scenes were shot in Alaska. SAG-AFTRA granted the filmmakers approval to continue filming during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.

Flight Risk is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 18, 2024, by Lionsgate.
