Storyline:

Ki Joon, the toughest fighter in the world of crime, claims victory in a battle that ends the long power struggle between Seoul’s gangs. However, when his brother Ki Seok rises in rank within the enemy group, Ki Joon slashes his own heel and leaves the business to avoid fighting him. Fifteen years later, just when everything seems at peace, Ki Seok is mysteriously ambushed and killed right before his retirement. Consumed with a chilling rage, Ki Joon embarks on a one-man hunt to track down everyone involved in his brother’s death. Suspecting the main culprit isn’t far, he dives back into the violent underworld, reigniting old gang rivalries and setting the stage for another grisly bloodbath in Seoul.

Mercy for None (Korean: 광장) is an upcoming South Korean action crime mystery thriller Web series directed by Choi Sung-eun and written by Oh Se Hyung as Kyun Tae Kim. The series stars So Ji Sub, Ahn Kil Kang, Lee Bum Soo and Gong Myung.

The series is based on the webtoon “Plaza Wars” (광장) written by Oh Se Hyung and illustrated by Kim Kyun Tae.

Filming for the series began in October 2023.

Mercy for None is expected to be released on Netflix in 2024.
