Shazam! Fury of the Gods is an upcoming American superhero action-adventure film based on the DC Comics character Shazam. The film is directed by David F. Sandberg from a screenplay by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan.
The film is intended to be the sequel to Shazam! (2019) and the 12th film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). It stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren.
Principal photography began on May 26, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia, with Gyula Pados serving as cinematographer. Production on the film was delayed from an initial mid-2020 start due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming concluded on August 31, 2021.
Produced by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and The Safran Company, it is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 17, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The film continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.
