  • Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar abbreviated as TJMM, is an Indian Hindi romantic comedy-drama film directed by Luv Ranjan and co-written with Rahul Mody. Produced by Luv Films and T-Series Films, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles, alongside Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor.
  • The film was officially announced as an untitled romantic comedy on 20 December 2019. Filming began on 8 January 2021 in Ghaziabad. In July 2021, the second schedule of the film commenced in Delhi. The third schedule began in August 2021 in Mumbai, followed by another schedule in November 2021 in Delhi. The next schedule again took place in Mumbai in March 2022. The film was wrapped up in August 2022.
  • Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was theatrically released on 8 March 2023 by Yash Raj Films, coinciding with the Holi festival. The film received mixed reviews from critics. It premiered on Netflix on 3 May 2023. With a total worldwide gross ₹220.10 crore (US$28 million) film became the eighth-highest Bollywood film in 2023.

  • The film received mixed reviews from critics. Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has grossed over ₹220.1 crore worldwide, the third-highest by a Hindi film and the fifth-highest by an Indian film in 2023.
  • Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were cast as the leads, marking their first project together.
  • The film marks Boney Kapoor’s acting debut.
  • In May 2022, it was reported that crew members protested due to non-payment of dues. Ranjan denied the allegations.
  • Initially, Luv Ranjan announced a collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn in lead roles but the film failed to materialise later he announced a different film with Ranbir being retained and Ajay no longer being a part of it.
