Vidaamuyarchi is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The film stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role alongside Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav.
Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, the film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Nirav Shah and Om Prakash handle the cinematography, and N. B. Srikanth does the editing.
The project was announced on 18 March 2022 under the working title AK62. Principal photography began on 4 October 2023 in Azerbaijan and ended on 29 January 2024.
Vidaamuyarchi is scheduled to be released on October 31, 2024. The digital streaming rights were acquired by Netflix and the satellite rights by Sun TV.
