Farzi Web Series (2023):
Farzi (translation: Fake) is a Hindi black comedy crime thriller television series about counterfeit money created, produced, and directed by Raj & DK. They also co-wrote the series with Sita Menon and Suman Kumar. It stars Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, and Bhuvan Arora.
Initially conceived as a film in 2014, Farzi was expanded into a television series by 2019. Principal photography began in Mumbai in July 2021. Filming also took place in Alibaug, Goa, Nepal, and Jordan. Sachin–Jigar and Tanishk Bagchi composed the songs, while Ketan Sodha provided the score. The eight-episode series was released on Amazon Prime Video on 10 February 2023.

To save his beloved grandpa’s printing press from going under, brilliant artist Sunny comes up with an ingenious but dangerous plan. A determined officer, Michael, corners his arch-nemesis, counterfeiting kingpin Mansoor Dalal.

Sunny’s plan works, but there is no end to greed. Michael tries to get an anti-counterfeiting task force sanctioned. Megha’s passion project has no takers among the powers that be.

CCFART is formed. Sunny and Firoz accept a deal almost too large for them. Michael gate-crashes his son’s birthday party. Michael hires Megha, but she steps on a few toes trying to track down the ‘artist’ who made the sandwich note.

Dhanrakshak is launched. Michael’s attempts to reconcile with his wife only push her further away. Sunny looks for his missing Grandpa, with no help from the inept bureaucracy. Mansoor’s operations are threatened by Dhanrakshak.
