Storyline:
It is the story of Queen Won Kyung, born to Min Je during the Goryeo period, hailed from a distinguished family known for producing high-level government officials. Initially known as Lady Min, she married Lee Bang Won, Prince Jeongan, son of King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon dynasty. Despite her husband’s ambition to be king, King Taejo chose his second son, Lee Bang Gwa, as his successor. Dissatisfied, Lady Min played a crucial role in helping Lee Bang Won ascend the throne as King Taejong and establish a new regime. However, their marriage faced challenges when King Taejong took several concubines, causing strife. To consolidate his power, King Taejong began curtailing the influence of Queen Won Kyung and her family.
