Potato Research Institute (Korean: 감자연구소) is an upcoming South Korean romantic comedy television series written by Kim Ho-Soo and directed by Kang Il-Soo. The series stars Kang Tae-oh and Lee Sun-bin in the lead roles.
This series marks Kang Tae-oh’s first acting role since his discharge from the South Korean military on March 19, 2024.
Director Kang Il-Soo and screenwriter Kim Ho-Soo previously collaborated on the 2016 JTBC drama series “Solomon’s Perjury” and the 2019 MBC drama series “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung.”
Potato Research Institute is scheduled for release on tvN in 2025.
