Storyline:

The movie dwelves into the past of the gangster Bhairathi Ranagal who is now arrested by the Undercover cop Gana.

About Bhairathi Ranagal Movie:

Bhairathi Ranagal is a Kannada action thriller film written and directed by Narthan. The film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Rukmini Vasanth, and Rahul Bose in the lead roles. It was produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the banner of Geetha Pictures.

This film is the follow-up to the 2017 film Mufti serving as both a sequel and a prequel.

After making a blockbuster debut as a director with “Mufti,” Narthan wrote a script for Yash, and there were rumors of their collaboration. However, after needing to rework the script and facing delays in confirmations, Narthan approached Ramcharan, who was also eager to collaborate with UV Creations. Discussions continued for over a year. Meanwhile, Narthan, who had developed the character Bhairathi Ranagal from “Mufti,” decided to collaborate once again with Shivarajkumar. Shivarajkumar, after considering various scripts, finally chose Bhairathi Ranagal. In late 2023, however, rumors resurfaced that the script initially narrated to Ramcharan had been shifted to Vijay Deverakonda.

The film went on floors on May 26, 2023. Shooting began on August 2, 2023, and was conducted in various schedules across multiple locations, including Devanahalli, Mysore, Bellary, and Penugonda. The production of the film started in May 2023.

Music composer Ravi Basrur, who previously collaborated with Narthan on “Mufti,” has joined forces with him once again. Basrur composed the soundtrack and the background music for the film.

The film was theatrically released on 15 November 2024 in multiple languages including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Earlier it was announced to release on 15 August 2024 but later it was postponed.
