Storyline:

It is the story of the Chuska Warriors – a high school basketball team rich in Native American heritage. After losing their star player, the team must come together like never before to keep their state championship dreams alive.

Rez Ball is an American sports drama film directed by Sydney Freeland, based on the nonfiction sports novel Canyon Dreams by The New York Times journalist Michael Powell.

Principal photography for Rez Ball took place in New Mexico, with filming on the Navajo Nation, supported and permitted by the local sovereign tribal nations.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2024, and is scheduled to be released on Netflix on September 27, 2024.
