Storyline:

A small-time rancher agrees to hold a captured outlaw who’s awaiting a train to go to court in Yuma. A battle of wills ensues as the outlaw tries to psych out the rancher.

About Movie:

3:10 to Yuma is an American Western action drama directed by James Mangold and produced by Cathy Konrad. The film stars Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, with supporting roles from Peter Fonda, Gretchen Mol, Ben Foster, Dallas Roberts, Alan Tudyk, Vinessa Shaw, and Logan Lerman.

In June 2003, Columbia Pictures entered negotiations with Mangold to direct a remake of the 1957 Western 3:10 to Yuma, based on a script by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. Mangold, after a brief separation from the project, returned as director in February 2006. Production began in the summer of 2006, with Tom Cruise and Eric Bana expressing interest in roles, though neither ultimately joined the cast.

This film is the second adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s 1953 short story Three-Ten to Yuma. Filming occurred in various locations across New Mexico. Released on September 7, 2007, 3:10 to Yuma received positive reviews and grossed $71 million worldwide against a budget of $48–55 million.
