About Movie:
Fifty Shades Freed is an American erotic romantic drama directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on E. L. James’ 2012 novel. The third and final installment in the Fifty Shades film series, it follows Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) and Fifty Shades Darker (2017). Starring Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Eric Johnson, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle, and Marcia Gay Harden.
Development on the sequels began in early 2015 after the success of the first film. By November 2015, James Foley was hired to direct both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, which were shot back-to-back in Paris and Vancouver from February to July 2016. Composer Danny Elfman, who had scored the previous films, returned to create the score for the final installment.
Fifty Shades Freed premiered in Paris on February 6, 2018, and was released in the U.S. on February 9, including a limited IMAX release. While the film grossed $372 million worldwide against a $55 million budget, it was the lowest-earning film of the trilogy. Like its predecessors, it was met with unfavorable reviews, receiving criticism for its screenplay and acting.
