Storyline:
Beyond Rock Bottom (also known as Mélypont Érzés) is a documentary film that follows two recovering addicts, Boróka, a high school girl from a broken home, and Szilveszter, a young man struggling to come to terms with his sexuality during their first year at the Megálló Recovery Centre in Budapest, Hungary. Megalló is run by former addicts looking to make a positive impact by using innovative methods such as rock climbing to overcome addiction. After their initial climbing experience, the two embark on a journey deep into the rocky terrain of self-discovery, confronting their stormy relationships with their parents, seeking support, forgiveness, and above all, self-acceptance.
