Storyline:

The story revolves around Geeta (Zarina Wahab), a young woman whose father, Pitamber Choudhry (A.K. Hangal), is searching for a suitable husband for her. When he mistakenly brings home Vinod (Amol Palekar), a simple and kind-hearted man instead of the intended suitor, Geeta finds herself drawn to him. Vinod, who is also a talented musician, wins the hearts of Geeta and her family with his charm and musical skills.

As the plot unfolds, Geeta’s parents initially favor Vinod as a potential son-in-law. However, complications arise when Sunil (Vijayendra Ghatge), the foreign-returned engineer originally intended for Geeta, enters the picture.
