Storyline:

The story revolves around Raman (Dileep), who works in a rice mill in Pune. He aspires to buy an auto rickshaw to improve his life and decides to return to his village to claim money that his parents had invested in his name before their death. Upon reaching his village, Raman finds himself caught in a long-standing family feud that he was previously unaware of. The film humorously depicts his attempts to navigate this conflict while dealing with romantic interests and familial expectations.

Ivan Maryadaraman is a Malayalam comedy-drama film directed by Suresh Divakar. The film stars Dileep, Nikki Galrani, Nagineedu, and Kailash, with a supporting cast that includes Anand, Sudheer Sukumaran, Abu Salim, and others. It is produced by Anto Joseph under the Anto Joseph Film Company and is scripted by the duo Udayakrishna and Siby K. Thomas. The film is a remake of the 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, which itself was inspired by Buster Keaton’s 1923 silent film Our Hospitality.
