Storyline:
Sanjay Ramaswamy (Suriya) is suffering from anterograde amnesia where he loses his memory every 15 minutes. He remembers all the details of his life through photographs, notes and tattoos on his body. His ultimate aim is to avenge his lover, Kalpana`s (Asin) death who was murdered at the hands of Lakshman (Pradeep Rawat), a notable social personality in Chennai.
The film then tells the story of Sanjay and Kalpana, in a flashback where her murder is revealed.
The rest is how Sanjay avenges her death and returns to his life of normalcy.

Ghajini is a Tamil action thriller film directed by A. R. Murugadoss, who also co-wrote the screenplay. The film stars Suriya, Asin Thottumkal, Nayanthara, and Pradeep Rawat. It features music composed by Harris Jayaraj, with cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar and editing by Anthony.
