Storyline:

After an eye-opening encounter of the third kind, the secret MiB organisation’s newest recruit, Agent M, finds herself under the wing of the heroic Agent H in cosmopolitan London, when a shape-shifting duo of intergalactic assassins executes an alien aristocrat. Now, with a devastating super-weapon of mass destruction hidden somewhere on Earth, the Men in Black will leave no stone unturned to retrieve it. However, heavy clouds of mistrust and a scent of betrayal envelop the once-incorruptible agency. Is there a well-placed mole in their midst?

Men in Black: International (stylized as MIB: International) is an American science fiction action-comedy film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. Produced by Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Tencent Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, and Parkes+MacDonald Image Nation, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.

The movie serves as the fourth and final installment of the Men in Black franchise. Based on the Malibu/Marvel comic book series by Lowell Cunningham, the film introduces a new cast and storyline, set in the same universe as the original trilogy but without Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in lead roles.

The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rebecca Ferguson, Rafe Spall, and Liam Neeson, with Emma Thompson reprising her role from Men in Black 3 and Tim Blaney returning to voice Frank the Pug from the earlier installments.

After the success of Men in Black 3 in 2012, discussions about a fourth film began. In early 2018, Hemsworth signed on for the lead role, with Gray directing and Tessa Thompson joining the cast shortly after.

Filming started on July 9, 2018, at Leavesden Studios and in various locations such as London, Marrakesh, Ischia, and New York City. On October 17, 2018, Hemsworth confirmed the completion of principal photography. The film featured vehicles like the Lexus RC F, Jaguar XJ6, and Rezvani Tank.

Danny Elfman returned to score the film, collaborating with Chris Bacon. However, the production faced significant issues, particularly conflicts between producer Walter F. Parkes and director F. Gary Gray.

The visual effects were created by Double Negative, with additional work from Rodeo FX, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Method Studios, under the supervision of Alessandro Ongaro.

Men in Black: International premiered in New York City on June 11, 2019, with a wide release following three days later. The film was met with generally negative reviews, with critics citing lackluster action and a forgettable plot. Financially, it grossed $253.9 million globally, underperforming against its $94–110 million production budget.
