Storyline:

Gunner, a special forces soldier who has witnessed the darkest side of country and combat, is forced back into the field of battle to save his niece, who is being held in South America. As the fight intensifies, Gunner and his team discover that her disappearance is part of a corrupt private operation that hits way too close to home.

Long Gone Heroes is an upcoming American action crime mystery thriller film directed by John Swab, who co-wrote it with Santiago Manes Moreno. The film stars Frank Grillo, Josh Hutcherson, Eden Brolin, Mekhi Phifer, Melissa Leo, and Andy García.

Guy Pearce was originally slated to star in the film but withdrew during preproduction.

This marks the fifth collaboration between actor Frank Grillo and director John Swab, following their previous work on Body Brokers (2020), Ida Red (2021), Little Dixie (2023), and One Day As a Lion (2023).

Long Gone Heroes is scheduled for a limited release on September 20, 2024.
