Storyline:

Set in the near future, in the year 2028. With economic sanctions being imposed on countries including India, the country has not joined the coalition initiated by China to replace the UN. To retaliate, raids are taking place in India at the same time, the chaos caused by the impending Third World War.

The film was officially announced on February 21, 2023, under the tentative title Hiphop Tamizha 8, marking the actor’s eighth film as a lead actor. The official title of the film was later revealed on July 19, 2024.

Principal photography began on February 21, 2023. The film was predominantly shot in Chennai throughout a single schedule, wrapping production exactly a year later on February 21, 2024. The trailer of the movie was released on social media platforms on September 11, 2024.

Think Music acquired the audio rights for the film. The first single, “Boombastic,” was released on 9 August 2024. The second single, “Suthanthira Swasam,” was launched on 15 August 2024, coinciding with India’s Independence Day. The third single, “Unakaaga,” followed on 22 August 2024.

Kadaisi Ulaga Por was released worldwide on 20 September 2024 and received a “U/A” certification from the CBFC.
