Storyline:

The film follows the friendship, dreams, hopes, and deeds of Resham and Hariya – both weathered by bad luck and misfortunes, must at any cost beat the oddest odds to save their lives from Dorje’s men. Resham Filili was released on 24 April 2015, a day before the 2015 Nepal earthquake struck. The earthquake had a huge impact on the earning and screening of the film.

Resham Filili (Nepali: रेशम फिलिली) is a Nepali comedy film directed by Pranab Joshi. The film gained significant attention following the release of its title song “Jaalma,” which became an instant hit on YouTube.

Resham Filili was released shortly before the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal in April 2015. Despite this unfortunate timing, the film performed well at the box office, grossing around NPR 71 lakhs on its opening day. It was re-released on August 28, 2015, allowing more audiences to experience it.
