Storyline:

The movie dates back to 1951. Here, two incidents take place; The birth of the hero and the other in the Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F) they get gold. The hero is brought up in poverty. When he is very young he goes to Mumbai to become a mafia don. His mother’s wish was to see her son rich and powerful.

After being in Mumbai for some time he returns. Will he be able to become a Don? Will he set his people free from the age-old slavery? Forms the plot of the movie?

About K.G.F: Chapter 1 Movie:

K.G.F: Chapter 1 is the first of two installments in the series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2.

Following the success of Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari (2014), Yash signed for four projects as of March 2015, including one with director Prashanth Neel (of Ugramm fame).

The film’s development began in early 2015 after Neel finished writing the screenplay.

Filming began two years later, in January 2017. Most of the film is set in the Kolar Gold Fields and was filmed in locales such as Kolar, Mysore, and parts of North Karnataka.

The film’s production was completed in August 2018.

Filmed on a budget of ₹800 million (equivalent to ₹910 million or US$11 million in 2020), it was the most expensive Kannada film at the time of its release.
K.G.F: Chapter 1 was released on 20 December 2018 and the dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi were released the next day. The film received positive reviews from critics and dialogues from the film became famous worldwide.

The film performed well commercially and collected ₹2.5 billion (equivalent to ₹2.8 billion or US$36 million in 2020) in its entire theatrical run, becoming the highest-grossing Kannada film and turning out to be a cult hit.

On 18 December 2018, a few scenes from the film were leaked onto social networking sites, although Karthik Gowda, the executive producer, labeled it a rumour and clarified that the filmmakers have created a team to fight against online piracy.
