Storyline:
The story unfolds as Jeff, while recuperating, begins to suspect that one of his neighbors, Lars Thorwald (Raymond Burr), has murdered his wife. As he watches Thorwald’s suspicious behavior, including the disposal of a large trunk and the cleaning of a knife, Jeff enlists the help of his girlfriend Lisa (Grace Kelly) and nurse Stella (Thelma Ritter) to investigate. Their amateur sleuthing leads them to confrontations with Thorwald and culminates in a tense climax where Lisa’s safety is jeopardized.
