About Movie:
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey is an American adventure comedy film and a remake of the 1963 film The Incredible Journey, which was based on the 1961 novel of the same name by Sheila Burnford. Directed by Duwayne Dunham in his feature film directorial debut, the film features the voice talents of Michael J. Fox, Sally Field, and Don Ameche.
It was released on February 3, 1993, and grossed approximately $57 million worldwide. The film was followed by a sequel, Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco, released in 1996. Notably, it is dedicated to producer Franklin R. Levy, who passed away during the production, and it marked the final film released during Don Ameche’s lifetime.
