Storyline:
Delia Balmer, an agency nurse, met Sweeney, who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend. He attacked her before evading capture. Balmer rebuilt her life to confront Sweeney seven years later after he was arrested for another murder.
About Until I Kill You TV Series:
Until I Kill You is based on Delia Balmer’s autobiographical book Living with a Serial Killer (2017).
In February 2023, it was announced that Anna Maxwell Martin would star as Delia Balmer, the real-life subject, and Shaun Evans would play the serial killer John Sweeney. The four-part drama, adapted from Balmer’s memoir, was written by Nick Stevens, directed by Julia Ford, and produced by Ken Horn for World Productions.
The series was presented as Until I Kill You at MIPCOM in October 2023 and was confirmed for ITV’s 2024 slate in December. It premiered on TVNZ+ in New Zealand on April 7, 2024, followed by a release on Canada’s Hollywood Suite on April 18, 2024, and then on ITV1/ITVX in the United Kingdom on November 3, 2024.
