• Ma Dong-seok as Tae-san
  An angel symboling the tiger, who protects the world with absolute power and is the leader of the 12 angels. He buries the four angels symbolizing the cow, rabbit, sheep, and chicken who were sacrificed in a past battle deep in his heart, and lives in the human world while hiding his identity.
• Park Hyung-sik as O-gwi
  An evil spirit who confronts the angels with merciless power.
• Seo In-guk as Won-seung
  An angel symbolizing the monkey. He is a quick-witted and resourceful man who dreams of becoming the next leader after Taesan.

  The only human with special abilities chosen by God and the manager of the 12 angels. He stays by the side of the angels and helps them protect human world.
• Lee Joo-bin as Mir
  An angel symbolizing the dragon. She lives with her special powers sealed along with evil spirits in a battle thousands of years ago.

  An angel symbolizing the snake who works as a nurse at a Korean medicine clinic to help Bang-wool. He has an agile body movements when fighting.

  An angel symbolizing the dog. She is as agile as a fighting dog when fighting and has a warm heart that never lets go of his desire to protect humans.

Twelve Storyline (Plot)

Twelve is about the fight between the 12 angels and a group of evil spirits trying to awaken their sealed power to conquer the Korean Peninsula.

About Twelve TV Series

Twelve (트웰브) is a South Korean fantasy action superhero drama directed by Kang Dae-gyu, starring Ma Dong-seok, Park Hyung-sik, Seo In-guk, Sung Dong-il, Lee Joo-bin, Ko Kyu-pil, Kang Mi-na, Sung Yoo-bin, Ahn Ji-hye, and Regina Lei and centered on twelve angels who protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits. The series blends elements of action, adventure, fantasy, and the supernatural, inspired by the twelve zodiac animals of the East. It is scheduled to premiere on U+ Mobile TV in 2025.

Koo Sung-mok, who worked with Ma Dong-seok on the films Pained (2011) and The Neighbors (2012), will handle produciton on the series Twelve, which producers hope to release by the end of next year. The production will be handled by Contents, Big Punch Pictures, Nova Film, and Studio X+U, which is also responsible for the planning. The Contents On is a co-producer.

In 2023, Ma Dong-seok supposedly got a hold of the script, which he liked. By 2024, Ji Chang-wook, Seo In-guk, Lee Joo-bin, Kang Mi-na, Sung Dong-il, and Ko Kyu-pil were in talks and considering roles. On October 2024, Ma Dong-seok and Seo In-guk, Sung Dong-il, Ko Kyu-pil, Lee Joo-bin, Park Hyung-sik, Ahn Ji-hye, Kang Mi-na, Sung Yoo-bin, and Regina Lei publicly confirmed their own participation.

Principal photography began at the end of October 2024.
