Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju (born 23 October 1979), better known as Prabhas is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and is one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema.
Prabhas has been featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list three times since 2015 based on his income and popularity. He has received seven Filmfare Awards South nominations and is a recipient of the Nandi Award and the SIIMA Award.

Kalki 2898 AD
Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming Indian epic science fiction action film directed by Nag Ashwin. The film stars Prabhas in the lead role, along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in other prominent roles. The film is set in the year 2898 AD and is based on Hindu mythology, specifically the concept of Kalki, the 10th avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. It is described as a dystopian mythological science-fiction film.
The film has been in production since 2021 and is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages.
