About A Different Man Movie:
A Different Man is an American psychological horror thriller film produced by Christine Vachon, Gabriel Mayers, and Vanessa McDonnell. Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, the film stars Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, C. Mason Wells and Adam Pearson.
This is Adam Pearson’s second collaboration with director Aaron Schimberg after Chained for Life (2018).
The film was announced in June 2022. Principal photography for the film began in July 2022 and was shot over 22 days in New York City, primarily in the East Village, the Upper West Side, and parts of Brooklyn. Filming also took place in the New Jersey cities of Maplewood and Montclair.
The film premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival on January 21, 2024. The film also screened in a Competition at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival on February 16, 2024, thus it was nominated to compete for the Golden Bear Award. It was also screened at the New Directors/New Films Festival on April 3, 2024.
A Different Man was released in the United States on September 20, 2024, and in the United Kingdom on October 4, 2024. It was also selected for the 2024 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival under the World Cinema section.
