Lahore 1947

The most anticipated period action film Lahore 1947 is initially set to release on 26 January 2025, it is now pushed to June 2025 due to post-production works. It stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Aamir Khan, Ali Fazal, and Shabana Azmi. Khan will play as Rehan Ikramullah, Saima’s son, (a dreaded dangerous criminal and terrorist and country traitor), (the last main antagonist villain). This film will mark the comeback of Preity Zinta after a 7-year hiatus.
The film will be based on Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Ni by Asghar Wajahat. irected by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. Set against the backdrop of the partition of India in 1947. The music for Lahore 1947 is composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar.
