Storyline:
Set in the ’30s, this film follows three friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking plots in American history.

- Filming was originally set to begin in March 2021 in Boston on a $50 million budget, but was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming was moved to Los Angeles, California after the cast did not want to travel to Boston amid the pandemic.
- Principal photography took place over 49 days between January and March 2021.
- This is the third collaboration between David O. Russell and Christian Bale following The Fighter (2010) and American Hustle (2013).
- The fourth collaboration between David O. Russell and Robert De Niro after Silver Linings Playbook (2012), American Hustle (2013), and Joy (2015).
- The film was previewed at the 2022 CinemaCon on April 27, 2022.
