About Aranmanai 4 Movie:
Aranmanai 4 is a Tamil comedy horror film directed by Sundar C. and starring Sundar himself, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, K. S. Ravikumar and more.
It is the standalone sequel to Aranmanai 3 (2021), and the fourth installment in the Aranmanai film series.
Produced by Khushbu Sundar and A. C. S. Arun Kumar under the banner of Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media (P) Ltd, the film has music composed by Hiphop Tamizha, cinematography handled by E. Krishnasamy and editing done by Fenny Oliver.
In January 2023, Vijay Sethupathi was cast as the lead in the fourth Aranmanai film series, but due to scheduling conflicts, he stepped down, and Sundar C. took over.
Principal photography for the film began in March 2023. It was predominantly shot in Kochi and wrapped by mid-September.
The first look poster of the film was released on September 29, 2023. Exclusive stills were leaked and went viral on March 15, 2024. The official trailer was launched on March 30, 2023, at a grand event in Chennai and received mostly positive reviews.
Aranmanai 4 was initially scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in mid-January 2024 during the Pongal week but was postponed to Republic Day. Later, it was pushed to 11 April, then to 26 April, and finally locked for theatrical release on 3 May 2024, alongside the Telugu version titled Baak.
Disney+ Hotstar acquired the digital rights to Aranmanai 4 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, and it began streaming on the platform on 21 June 2024.
