Prabhas Introduces Bujji, His Robotic Companion in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’
In a grand event held in Hyderabad, Prabhas unveiled Bujji, a unique robotic vehicle that will play a pivotal role in his upcoming sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the highly anticipated movie boasts an impressive star cast including Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.
Bujji, voiced by Keerthy Suresh, is more than just a means of transportation for Prabhas’ character Bhairava. It is a custom-made robot with a distinct personality that was designed and built in India with the help of Anand Mahindra’s team and Coimbatore-based Jayam Motors.
The event, attended by nearly 20,000 guests, featured stunt performances by bikers and a special dance number by the Mumbai-based V.Unbeatable team, winners of season two of America’s Got Talent. Prabhas made a grand entry driving Bujji, showcasing the vehicle’s impressive design and capabilities.
Nag Ashwin expressed his gratitude to Anand Mahindra for supporting the project and helping bring Bujji to life. He also acknowledged the efforts of the entire team behind the creation of this unique character.
Prabhas, who attended the event dressed as Bhairava, thanked Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan for being a part of the film and shared his memories of growing up watching their movies. He also expressed his appreciation for the producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt for their dedication to the project.
