Bangarraju is a Telugu supernatural drama film written and directed by Kalyan Krishna, and a screenplay by Satyanand, while Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios produced the film. The film’s music is composed by Anup Rubens, DOP was done by J Yuvaraj, and edited by Vijay Vardhan K.

It stars Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna who reprise their roles from the original alongside Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Shetty. The film was released on 14 January 2022 concluding with Sankranthi. It serves as a prequel to the 2016 Telugu film Soggade Chinni Nayana.
