Storyline:

Bharath, who returns for his father’s funeral, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is forced to become the new CM. Unhappy with the government’s functioning, he aims to implement monumental changes. As opposition grows, he is compelled to make some strong decisions.

Bharat Ane Nenu is a Telugu political action drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva and starring Mahesh Babu, Kiara Advani, Prakash Raj, R. Sarathkumar, Aamani, Devaraj, Posani Krishna Murali, P. Ravi Shankar, and Yashpal Sharma.

Produced by D. V. V. Danayya, the film’s music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The cinematography was handled by Ravi K. Chandran and Tirru, and the editing was done by A. Sreekar Prasad.

In mid-2016, DVV Danayya announced that they would produce a film starring Mahesh Babu, directed by Koratala Siva. This is the second collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva, following their 2015 blockbuster film Srimanthudu.

Bharat Ane Nenu is Bollywood actress Kiara Advani’s Telugu debut film. This is also the first on-screen pair-up between Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani

Bharat Ane Nenu was released theatrically on April 20, 2018. The film was later dubbed and released in Hindi as Dashing CM Bharath on November 2, 2018. The film, with a budget of ₹65 crore, grossed between ₹187.6–225 crore, achieving major commercial success at the box office.

Mahesh Babu received first ever Dadasaheb Phalke South Award for his performance in this film

The film was dubbed in Hindi twice: once for theatrical release and once for YouTube. Vallabh Bhingarde was dubbed for Mahesh Babu in the theatrical version, while Rajesh Kava was dubbed for the YouTube version, which was uploaded on SN Media’s YouTube channel but has since been deleted.
