Storyline:

Bheed is a fictitious account of the largest migration in Indian history (since the 1947 partition) during the quarantine in 2020. It tells the story of how several characters deal with the lockdown and migrate to a safe place.

• Bheed is a Hindi film written and directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles along with Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur, Kritika Kamra, Kumud Mishra, Aditya Shrivastav and Veerendra Saxena in supporting roles.
• The film is set during the events of the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown in India. Principal photography commenced in October 2021 and ended in January 2022. Bheed was theatrically released on 24 March 2023 by Yash Raj Films and Reliance Entertainment.
• The film was officially announced on 13 May 2022. The film’s official Announcement video was released on 3rd March 2023.
• It’s the first collaboration of the star Rajkumar Rao and director Anubhav Sinha and it’s the first film of Rajkumar Rao in 2023.
• Bheed was released on 24 March 2023 to positive reviews but was a commercial failure.
