- Black Adam is an American superhero fantasy action adventure film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, based on the DC character of the same name. It stars Dwayne Johnson as the title character.
- The film is based on the DC character of the same name.
- It is a spin-off to Shazam! (2019) and the 11th film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
- Principal photography began on April 10, 2021, at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, and wrapped by August 15, 2021.
- Jordan Peele was originally offered the chance to direct the film when it was first announced in 2017, but Peele declined, saying “I’m not a fan of superhero movies and I’d hate to take that chance away from a director who is passionate about them.”
