Storyline:
Dr. Oliver Wolf, a gifted neurologist, applies his unconventional approach to treating puzzling psychological cases.
About Series:
In November 2019, Fox announced the development of the series with a script deal plus penalty but ultimately did not move forward with it. On January 24, 2023, the project was shifted to NBC, which gave it a series order on October 20, 2023.
Inspired by Oliver Sacks’ books The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars, the series was originally titled Dr. Wolf but was renamed Brilliant Minds on May 1, 2024, due to strike-related production delays. It was given a 13-episode order for its first season.
Principal photography began on April 8, 2024, and concluded on August 23, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.
Brilliant Minds premiered on NBC on September 23, 2024.
