Storyline:

The film offers a bloody horror twist inspired by the famous fairy tale Tam Cam, focusing primarily on Cam, Tam’s half-sister. The story primarily focuses on Cam, Tam’s half-sister, while introducing many creative characters and elements that blend a sense of strangeness with familiarity for the audience.

The plot centers around two half-sisters, Tam and Cam, the daughters of village chief Hai Hoang. Tam’s mother passed away early, and her father remarried, having Cam. However, Cam was born with a deformed face, making her a source of shame for the family.

Despite her appearance, it is Cam, not Tam, who endures constant humiliation. Her father, Hai Hoang, and Cam’s biological mother treat her with cruelty, while the villagers avoid her. Eventually, Cam is kidnapped by strangers and sacrificed in a ritual. When a mysterious voice asks, “Why are you crying?” Cam seemingly transforms, awakening terrifying demonic powers that will haunt her family and the village.
