Storyline:

What if you lost your memory? What if a spy didn’t know they were a spy? Years ago, the top agents of Citadel, Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, had their minds wiped. But, they’re called back to action as sinister forces emerge from the past. With the help of spymaster Bernard Orlick, these former lovers must remember the past to save the future.

About Citadel Web Series:

As of 2023, Citadel was the second most expensive series of all time with a budget of $300 million, largely due to reshoots following David Weil’s hiring. Prime Video renewed the series for a second season on March 14, 2023.

The first season premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 28, 2023, with its first two episodes. In March 2023, the series was renewed for a second season, with Joe Russo announced to direct all episodes. Citadel was nominated for two awards at the 22nd Visual Effects Society Awards.

Multiple non-English language spin-offs of Citadel have been announced, with settings in the Italian Alps, India, Spain, and Mexico. The Indian series Citadel: Honey Bunny, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is directed by Raj & DK and is set to premiere on November 7, 2024.

The Italian series Citadel: Diana is being produced by Cattleya, part of ITV Studios, and is set to be released in 2024. A trailer for the spin-off aired at the end of Season 1 of Citadel, and it is scheduled to premiere on October 10, 2024.
