Storyline:
In the dead of night, Rebecca wakes in a decrepit precinct, accused of a hit-and-run. But a deadly scuffle reveals a sinister plot. With nowhere to turn, she must uncover the truth before it consumes her. But Rebecca harbors secrets darker than they know.

Detained is an American psychological thriller film directed by Felipe Mucci, who co-wrote it with Jeremy Palmer. Produced by Ryan Scaringe, the film stars Abbie Cornish, Laz Alonso, Moon Bloodgood, John Patrick Amedori, Justin H. Min, Breeda Wool, and Silas Weir Mitchell.
Filming took place in Los Angeles for 20 days and wrapped on October 29, 2021.
In May 2023, it was announced that Sublimity Entertainment acquired worldwide sales rights to the film. In May 2024, Quiver Distribution acquired North American distribution rights to the film.
Detained is scheduled to be released in limited theaters and VOD on August 22, 2024.
