About Deva Movie:

Deva is an upcoming Hindi action thriller featuring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, the film is directed by Rosshan Andrrews and written by the duo Bobby–Sanjay, marking their debut in Hindi cinema.

In early August 2022, reports surfaced that Rosshan Andrrews had visited Shahid Kapoor at his residence to narrate a script that left a strong impression on the actor. Later, in November 2022, Andrrews confirmed via social media that he would be directing Kapoor in his upcoming film.

The film was officially announced on May 25, 2023, with its title, Deva, revealed on October 24, 2023, in celebration of Dussehra. Principal photography began on October 12, 2023, in Mumbai and concluded by September 4, 2024. Shahid Kapoor reduced his fee for the film and was reported to receive ₹25 crore (approximately US$3.0 million) as his remuneration.

Deva is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. The film was initially set to release on October 11, 2024, to coincide with Dussehra but was later postponed to its new date. The digital streaming rights have been acquired by ZEE5, while the satellite rights belong to Zee Cinema.
