Storyline:
Dharamveer 2 continues the saga by delving into the life of Anand Dighe. This dynamic and emotionally charged journey explores the untold aspects of the charismatic leader’s life and his profound impact on ordinary people. The film offers a captivating perspective on present-day politics and its intriguing connections to the past.
About Movie:
The film is a sequel to Dharmaveer (2022). In January 2023, producer Mangesh Desai announced plans for a follow-up, stating that the story of Dharmaveer felt incomplete. The sequel was officially announced in August 2023, with filming beginning in Thane in December 2023.
On June 30, 2024, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Bobby Deol unveiled the film’s poster at an event in Mumbai. The teaser followed on July 9, with the trailer launching on July 20 at an event attended by Shinde and Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Govinda, Jeetendra, Jackky Bhagnani, and Rakul Preet Singh.
Originally slated for release on August 9, 2024, in Marathi with a Hindi dub, the premiere was postponed to September 27, 2024, due to heavy rain. ZEE5 acquired the streaming rights, launching the film on its platform on October 25, 2024.
