Storyline:

Moon Cha Min is the son of a wealthy chaebol family and also the CEO of a social club. He doesn’t care at all for women who dream of having a fairy tale romance like Cinderella. He is also an arrogant person. Cha Min becomes involved with Shim Jae Rim, who begins to work as a manager of his social club. She got the job at the social club in hopes of finding her own Prince Charming and getting away from her poor existence.

By working there, she grows as a person and gradually accepts her life. She also becomes more independent and doesn’t look for someone to rely upon. Cha Min and Jae Rim, who are totally opposite from each other, soon develop a romantic relationship.

Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale (Korean: 나는 대놓고 신데렐라를 꿈꾼다) is a South Korean romantic comedy television series created by Baek Mi-kyung, written by Yoo Ja, directed by Kim Min-kyung, and starring Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Jun-young.

Writer Baek Mi-kyung, who wrote dramas such as Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017), The Lady in Dignity (2017), and Mine (2021), created Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella under the working title She Dreams of Cinderella (Korean: 그녀는 신데렐라를 꿈꾼다) as her next work and Yoo Ja wrote the script of the series. KeyEast and Story Phoenix signed a production contract and joined Baek to produce the series.

The series was confirmed to be released on TVING in 2024. It will also stream on Paramount+ in selected regions as part of Paramount’s global partnership with leading entertainment company CJ ENM. It was released on May 31, 2024.
