Storyline:

The film takes place in a futuristic version of Earth in which a deadly viral epidemic forced humanity to flee the planet in 2030. Sixty years later, British space agency astronaut Zach (Jamie Bacon) is on a reconnaissance mission and crash-lands in the Himalayan region of Nepal with his partner. They explore their surroundings and uncover a hidden city of caves nestled among the mountains, where they encounter a mysterious figure (Pradeep Khadka), who is the mythical guardian of the Himalayan region.

About Eklo-I Movie:

Eklo-I is an upcoming Nepali sci-fi zombie thriller film written and directed by Pradeep Shahi. It stars Pradeep Khadka, Vijay Lama, Benisha Hamal, Deeya Pun, Kabita Nepali, Avon Raj Upreti, and Sunil Thapa.

British actor and screenwriter Jamie Bacon is also part of the film Eklo-I. Additionally, Kabita Nepali is making her film debut with this project.

Filming began on August 30, 2024, in Mustang Nepal.

Eklo will be the first science fiction film to come out of Nepal and will be theatrically released in 2025.
