- Hwang In-youp as Kim San-ha, a man who seems to have no regrets and an appearance that will appeal to anyone.
- Jung Chae-yeon as Yoon Joo-won, a woman who is full of positive and strong energy was also loved and raised by her father, who runs his Kalguksu restaurant.
- Bae Hyun-sung as Kang Hae-joon, a man who is as clear as sunlight and has a lot of charm truly likes and follows those who have treated him like family.

Storyline:
It is about two men and a woman who aren’t blood-related but treated each other as a family during their teens and how they meet again after 10 years.

Family by Choice (Korean: 조립식 가족) is a South Korean romantic comedy-drama television series directed by Seungho Kim and written by Hong Si-young. The series stars Hwang In-youp, Jung Chae-yeon, Bae Hyun-sung and Seo Ji-hye.
It is based on the 20202 Chinese Television series Go Ahead.
On December 13, 2023, JTBC confirmed that Hwang In-youp, Jung Chae-yeon, and Bae Hyun-sung would be appearing in the series. The Family by Choice production team wrapped up filming and moved into post-production on July 14, 2024.
Family by Choice premiered on JTBC on October 9, 2024, and airs every Wednesday at 20:50 (KST). It is also available for streaming on TVING and Netflix in South Korea, on U-Next in Japan, and on Viu and Viki in selected regions.
