Storyline:

A clown fish named Marlin lives in the Great Barrier Reef and loses his son, Nemo, after he ventures into the open sea, despite his father’s constant warnings about many of the ocean’s dangers. Nemo is abducted by a boat netted up and sent to a dentist’s office in Sydney. While Marlin ventures off to retrieve Nemo, Marlin meets a fish named Dory, a blue tang suffering from short-term memory loss. The companions travel a great distance, encountering dangerous sea creatures such as sharks, anglerfish, and jellyfish, to rescue Nemo from the dentist’s office, which Sydney Harbour situates. While the two are searching the ocean far and wide, Nemo and the other sea animals in the dentist’s fish tank plot a way to return to the sea to live their lives free again.

About Movie:

Finding Nemo is an American animated comedy-drama adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Andrew Stanton and co-directed by Lee Unkrich, the film features a screenplay by Stanton, Bob Peterson, and David Reynolds, based on a story by Stanton. The voice cast includes Albert Brooks as Marlin, Ellen DeGeneres as Dory, Alexander Gould as Nemo, Willem Dafoe as Gill, and Geoffrey Rush as Nigel.

The plot follows Marlin, an overprotective clownfish, who embarks on a journey across the ocean to find his son, Nemo, after the young fish is captured by a diver and taken to a dentist’s office in Sydney. Along the way, Marlin teams up with Dory, a forgetful regal blue tang. Their adventure teaches Marlin valuable lessons about trust, letting go, and the importance of taking risks.

Development of Finding Nemo began in 1997, inspired by Stanton’s childhood experiences and fascination with fish tanks. To ensure realistic animation of the underwater world, the animators studied fish biology and oceanography. Thomas Newman composed the film’s score.
