About First Shift Movie:

First Shift is an American crime drama film written, directed, and produced by Uwe Boll. The film stars Gino Anthony Pesi, Kristen Renton, Garry Pastore, James McMenamin, Willy C. Carpenter, Brandi Bravo, and Daniel Sauli.

First Shift marks Uwe Boll’s return to filmmaking after a hiatus of at least five years. During this break, he set up a now-defunct upscale restaurant in Vancouver and directed a documentary. This film is his first American project since Rampage: President Down (2016).

Filming began and concluded in March 2023 on location in New York City. Despite legal hurdles over allegations of unfair labor practices on set, which Boll denied, the production proceeded as planned.

First Shift premiered in Germany at the Independent Days International Filmfest on April 10, 2024. It was released in theaters, on demand, and on digital platforms in the United States and Canada on August 30, 2024.

Quiver Distribution secured the distribution rights for First Shift in the American and Canadian markets, as well as “selected international territories.”
