Storyline:

Footage marks the directorial debut of Saiju Sreedharan. The film features Manju Warrier in a lead role, alongside Vishak Nair and Gayathri Ashok.

This is a found-footage film, presenting its narrative through video recordings created by the characters themselves. It is the second found-footage movie in Malayalam cinema, following Nirmal Baby Varghese’s Vazhiye (2022).

The film Footage was released on August 23, 2024, by Movie Bucket. It was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on August 2, 2024, but was postponed to the current date, due to the tragic Wayanad landslide.
