Storyline:

Five years after an unexplained malfunction causes the death of 15 tour-goers and staff on the opening night of a Halloween haunted house tour (Hell House), a documentary film crew visits the scene of the tragedy to investigate what happened that night.

About Movie:

Hell House LLC is an American found-footage supernatural horror film, written and directed by Stephen Cognetti, with Joe Bandelli serving as producer. As the first installment in the Hell House LLC franchise, the film is presented in a documentary style, following a team of creators behind a popular Halloween haunted house attraction called Hell House. Set during the preparation for its 2009 opening, the narrative takes a dark turn when an unexplained “malfunction” on opening night results in the deaths of 15 visitors and staff members. The film unravels the events leading up to the tragedy, shedding light on the mysterious circumstances that have baffled the public. Hell House LLC was released on various video-on-demand platforms, including Amazon Video, Shudder, YouTube, Vudu, and iTunes, on November 1, 2016.

A sequel, Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel, was released on September 20, 2018. This was followed by a second sequel, Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, which debuted in September 2019. The franchise continued with a prequel-sequel hybrid, Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor, released in October 2023. All of these films were released exclusively on Shudder. The series is set to expand further with a fifth installment, Hell House LLC: Lineage, scheduled for release in October 2025.
