Storyline:

About Hello, Love, Again Movie:

Hello, Love, Again is a Philippine romantic drama film directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana. It is the sequel to Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019), starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. Produced by Star Cinema and GMA Pictures.

On August 1, 2019, during the opening week of Hello, Love, Goodbye, lead actor Alden Richards and director Cathy Garcia-Molina expressed interest in a sequel despite Garcia-Molina’s plans to retire. On August 26, 2019, lead actress Kathryn Bernardo also expressed interest in a sequel.

On May 19, 2024, Deadline Hollywood confirmed that Star Cinema and GMA Pictures are developing the sequel, Hello, Love, Again, with Bernardo and Richards reprising their roles. Cathy Garcia-Sampana will direct the film.

Principal photography commenced on July 26, 2024, in Calgary. Filming wrapped up on August 24, 2024.

The teaser trailer shows Bernardo’s character, Joy, gazing at Canada’s snowy mountains. The sequel focuses on the romance and challenges faced by Filipino workers in Canada. On May 19, 2024, a joint press conference announced the collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA for the film.

Hello, Love, Again premiered in 656 cinemas nationwide on November 13, 2024, marking the widest release ever for a Filipino film. Midnight screenings were held in various cinemas across the country. The day before its general release, the film held its red carpet world premiere at SM Megamall, attended by the cast, crew, lead stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, and director Cathy Garcia-Sampana. The event also saw the presence of ABS-CBN and GMA celebrities and executives, including Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Carlo L. Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, Jak Roberto, Barbie Forteza, and Julia Montes.

Following its successful opening day, Star Cinema announced an expanded release to 1,100 cinemas worldwide, a historic milestone for a Filipino film.

Hello, Love, Again set a new record for the highest opening day gross by a local film, earning ₱85 million on its first day. The film continued its impressive run by adding ₱70 million on its second day, becoming the fastest local movie to cross the ₱150 million milestone. By its third day, it had grossed a total of ₱245 million, setting another record as the fastest local film to surpass ₱200 million.

As of December 2, 2024, Hello, Love, Again has earned ₱1.4 billion, becoming the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, surpassing Rewind.
