Storyline:

Hitpig is a clever pig who makes a living catching escaped animals and returning them to their owners. His next job is his biggest yet: return a dancing elephant named Pickles to a maniacal Vegas showman, for a million bucks. When the mission goes sideways, Hitpig must realize that no amount of money is worth losing his newfound friends.

About Movie:

Hitpig! is an animated comedy film directed by Cinzia Angelini and David Feiss, based on an original story by Berkeley Breathed, inspired by his 2008 children’s book Pete & Pickles. Breathed co-wrote the screenplay with Dave Rosenbaum and Tyler Werrin.

The film features voice performances by Jason Sudeikis, Lilly Singh, Rainn Wilson, Anitta, RuPaul, Hannah Gadsby, and Charlie Adler.

Jason Sudeikis takes over from Peter Dinklage as the voice of Hitpig in Hitpig!. Both actors previously held main voice roles in The Angry Birds Movie (2016) and its sequel, The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019).

The film marks Rainn Wilson’s third animated film, following Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) and Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017), both of which featured him as the main villain’s voice.

In August 2024, Viva Pictures acquired the U.S. distribution rights for the film, and was released in North America on November 1, 2024.
